What Customers Say
Workers appreciate the immediate start and flexibility, but some find the pay insufficient for the job's demands.
Expert Review
Admiral Security Services is currently offering positions for Armed and Unarmed Security Officers in the South Bay Area. With pay up to $18 per hour, it's an accessible option for those looking to start or continue their career in security. Applicants must possess a valid CA Guard Card, and armed guards need additional permits and proof of firearm ownership.
Candidates should be ready for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. While this flexibility can be a plus, it might not suit everyone. The company particularly encourages former military and law enforcement personnel to apply, which could foster a strong team environment among experienced staff.
However, the pay may not be competitive for those with extensive experience in the field, especially given the physical demands and potential risks of armed positions. The job may also lack comprehensive benefits, which is crucial for many job seekers today. For those just starting out in security, Admiral Security Services provides an entry point with on-the-job experience, but it might not be ideal for seasoned professionals looking for higher pay.
In summary, if you're in the South Bay Area and have the necessary qualifications, Admiral Security Services offers immediate openings with a reasonable pay rate, but be sure to weigh the potential for irregular hours and the job's demands against your personal needs and expectations.
