The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responding to guest and employee emergencies Vendor, guest, and contractor check in/check out Logging and dispatching lost and found Receiving, handling, and dispatching of mail, packages and deliveries Incident and accident response and reporting Providing basic first aid Regular monitoring and walking of hotel premises. Maintain outstanding customer service in all interactions with guests and colleagues Adhere to safety and security protocols for the hotel Maintaining the operational performance of in-room safes and door locks Report building preventive maintenance projects so they may be assigned and addressed. Support in facilitating hotel drills as it relates to preparation of emergency situations. Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
