Join us and play an important part on our incredible team! What you get to do: In this role, you willl ensure the highest level of guest safety, security and satisfaction. You will serve in a number of key roles providing the professional demeanor and reassuring presence that gives guests and ambassadors peace of mind and enhances their overall park experience. Specifically, you will: Provide guests and team members with safe and secure environmentPractice safe work habits, including the use of personal protective equipmentWork security checkpointsComplete general security tasksInspect all bags to prevent the introduction of contraband into the parkMonitor all vehicles and employees entering and exiting the parkCheck ID cards and control vehicle and pedestrian trafficComplete security lockdowns after operating hoursPerform routine foot and vehicle patrolsRespond and provide aid for emergency situationsMaintain order in large crowds and perform traffic controlTestify in court when necessaryServe as the Park Dispatcher, Communications Center, and Emergency Operations Center OfficerWork as Security Lead Officer or Officer in Charge (OIC) in the absence of an on-site supervisor What it takes to succeed: At least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalentAmerican Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certification or able to obtain themExceptional communication, interpersonal and multi-tasking skillsMust have a valid driver's licenseAbility to maintain calm and order in high-pressure situationsAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to work with large crowds in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand and walk for entire shift Compensation: 20.00 per hour The perks of the position: Paid Time OffComplimentary Park Tickets and PassesPark Discounts on Food and MerchandiseMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401K Retirement planVoluntary InsuranceLife InsuranceDisability BenefitsTuition ReimbursementDependent and Health Care Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramLegal Assistance Plan EEO Employer: SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
