Job Description:
This is a union-represented position covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Eligible employees receive health and welfare benefits through the Teamsters Managed Health Care Trust, which may include medical, prescription, dental, vision, and life insurance. Employees may be eligible for pension benefits through the Teamsters Pension Plan, with employer contributions made in accordance with the agreement. Employees with other qualifying medical coverage may have the option to participate in an annuity plan in lieu of health coverage. All wages, benefits, and eligibility requirements are governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and Trust Fund rules.
Position Details:Schedule: Monday to Friday Shift: 5:00AM until wok is completedPayrate: For external applicants: $25.76 per hour. For internal employee applicants: $.50 per hour will be added to existing base payrate. Why Join Core-Mark?

Position Summary:
As the Warehouse Lead, you are responsible for maintaining safety, productivity, and efficiency within your assigned area during your shift. You will supervise employees, monitor workflow, and ensure that operations run smoothly. Your role is critical in upholding Core-Mark's commitment to superior service and quality. Success in this position requires strong leadership, communication skills, attention to detail, dedication to safety, reliability, and a consistent drive for excellence.
Position Responsibilities:Communicate proactively with Warehouse Leadership and team members throughout the shift.Ensure adherence to standard policies and practices.Promote teamwork, morale, pride, and high-quality performance.Monitor supply levels at stations (e.g., totes, pallets) and coordinate replenishment as needed.Verify all equipment is in safe, working condition.Lead safety practices, manage incident reporting, and address issues promptly.Ensure proper training is provided; arrange additional training when needed.Oversee and maintain the security of assigned areas.Ensure all tasks comply with safety policies and operational standards.Report shifts progress and task completion to Warehouse Supervisor.Maintain accurate records of materials received and distributed.Complete required documentation for the assigned area.Step in as needed to ensure all job functions are completed each shift.Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) certificate.
• 1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Intermediate knowledge of warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office (word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to perform administrative work; including data entry and paperwork processing
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Intermediate mechanical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to disperse information to the company and across the warehouse
• Ability to analyze data, review the operations information, and make suggested changes.
• Ability to be able to get certified to operate powered industrial vehicles.
• Ability to learn and use electronic warehouse management software.
• Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position: up to 10 lbs. regularly, up to 25 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Physical ability to handle objects, tools, and/or controls.
• Physical ability to stand for a significant period of time and walk continuously.
• Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, or crawl.
• May require the ability to operate and/or be certified on various powered equipment.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment which will expose the incumbent to a variety of noise and potential extremes in temperature.
Preferred qualifications:
• 2-4 years warehouse and / or production work experience
• Experience with AS400.
• Team lead experience
• OSHA Forklift operator certificate.
