United Protection & Security Service is seeking highly trained, dependable, and professional Armed & Unarmed Security Officers to support safe and secure environments across multiple client locations. We are looking for mature officers who demonstrate sound judgment, strict adherence to protocol, and a commitment to exceptional service. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong situational awareness, and the ability to interact respectfully with the public, staff, and visitors while maintaining a calm, authoritative presence. What You’ll Do General Security Duties (Not Site‐Specific) Patrol and secure buildings, grounds, and parking areasMonitor activity to ensure the safety of property, equipment, staff, and visitorsEnforce site‐specific safety policies and procedures consistentlyManage access control, visitor check‐ins, and building entry proceduresRespond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergenciesComplete accurate, detailed incident reports and daily activity logsMaintain high visibility to deter unauthorized or suspicious activityCommunicate clearly with supervisors, clients, and the publicMaintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all timesFollow all UPSS protocols, post orders, and chain‐of‐command expectationsCarry and handle a firearm safely, responsibly, and in full compliance with Pennsylvania law and UPSS policy Position Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older to applyMust be able to travel — Officers will work at multiple job sitesMust be able to work various shifts, including overnight, weekends, and holidaysMust have a reliable vehicle and a valid Driver’s LicenseMinimum 2 years of verifiable experience in security, law enforcement, or related fieldsFor Armed Officers: Valid Pennsylvania Act 235 Certification is required at the time of hiring and must be current and up to date (if applicable)Demonstrated maturity and ability to follow direction and protocolStrong communication and customer‐service skillsHigh attention to detail and situational awarenessDependable, punctual, and professional work ethicHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to meet physical job requirements (standing, walking, patrolling) Must Pass Background checkChild Abuse Clearance (if required by site)Random drug screenings Preferred Attributes Prior armed security or law enforcement experienceCalm, respectful, and composed under pressureStrong judgment, integrity, and professionalismAbility to adapt quickly to different environments and client needsExperience working in high‐visibility or high‐traffic environment

What You’ll Do
