Commissionaires BC is proud to provide security services to a Government of Canada Public Safety site located in Burnaby. We are currently looking for security professionals who would be interested in working at a high profile Government of Canada site, and are comfortable and able to go through a Top Secret Clearance process. Successful candidates will need to have an open availability, including weekends and overnight shifts. Ideal candidates would be: Able to provide superior customer service to both customers and clients Experienced in following strict protocols and dealing with emergency situations Be of good character and sound mind, Honest and trustworthy Reliable Capable of obtaining a Top Secret Clearance. In possession of valid BC Security Licence and OFA 1 certificate or willing to obtain Able to work shift rotations including mornings, afternoons and graveyards Top secret clearance requirements: Minimum of 10 years living Canada Must hold Canadian citizenship Have no criminal record or association with criminal activities (including family, friends and acquaintances) The test itself comprises of: Completion of comprehensive paperwork Thorough and intense investigation on past activities, associations and your character Examination of vices, dishonesty, and financial status Polygraph Test – Must complete and pass testing **Please note – due to the nature of the clearance, processing times can take 10-12 months to complete.
