About the Role We're building a next-generation logistics & on-demand errand platform with real-time tracking, secure payments, and seamless communication. We're looking for a skilled Mid-Level Frontend Developer (React Native) who can take ownership of complex features, drive architectural decisions, and deliver high-quality production code from day one. What You'll Be Doing Architect, build, and ship production-ready mobile features using React Native + Expo Take end-to-end ownership of features from ideation → development → release Implement and optimise real-time GPS tracking (Google Maps / Mapbox) Design and integrate REST API consumption patterns with the NestJS backend Build and refine payments, wallets, and transaction flows Develop chat and calling features (WebRTC, Twilio, etc.) Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers Drive performance optimisation, debugging, and technical debt reduction Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to shape the product roadmap Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch) Who We're Looking For You're a strong fit if you: Have 3–5 years of experience in frontend or mobile development Are proficient in React Native with demonstrable production app experience Have strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript Have shipped and maintained real-world projects (professional or significant freelance work) Understand API design, data flows, and state management at a deep level Can independently scope, estimate, and deliver features with minimal oversight Are proactive, communicative, and passionate about building real products Strong Advantage (Stand-Out Skills) Hands-on experience with real-time features (maps, WebSockets, live tracking) Background in payments, fintech, or transaction-heavy applications Deep familiarity with state management (Redux, Zustand, Jotai, etc.) Working knowledge of Node.js / NestJS or other backend frameworks Experience integrating third-party SDKs and managing complex dependencies Practical knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small feature teams What You Get (Beyond Salary) ₦300,000 – ₦400,000/month (competitive for this stage) with performance-based salary reviews Accelerated Growth – Clear path to senior engineer within 12–18 months Full-Stack Exposure – Mobile + Backend + Cloud experience across the entire stack Real Ownership – Own critical features and influence technical direction Direct Mentorship – Work closely with founders and senior engineers Career Leverage – Build experience that significantly boosts your market value Startup Experience – Learn how real products are built, scaled, and shipped 📩 How to Apply Apply directly here on LinkedIn or send your CV + GitHub/Portfolio (important) to: 📧 [email protected]  We review applications on a rolling basis.
