Position: Event Staff Security Officer (Must Have Guard D License) Location: Tampa, FL Pay Rate: $16.50/hour Schedule: Varies by event (College & Pro Football Games, Major Concerts, and Special Events) Job Summary: As an Event Staff Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of fans, performers, and staff during high-attendance events at one of Tampa's premier venues. You’ll help manage crowds, secure access points, patrol assigned areas, and assist in keeping the environment safe and professional at all times. Key Responsibilities: Monitor gates, verify credentials, and control access to restricted areas. Patrol concourses, seating areas, and perimeter zones for security and safety. Maintain a strong, visible security presence to deter inappropriate or unlawful behavior. Assist with crowd management and emergency response as needed. Provide directions and exceptional customer service to guests and staff. Enforce venue policies and stadium rules with professionalism and respect. Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance at all times. Requirements: Must be able to stand and patrol for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. Must have guard D License Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a positive, team-first attitude. Ability to follow instructions, adapt quickly, and remain calm under pressure. Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills. Prior event security experience preferred but not required.
