Securiguard Services Ltd. is expanding its operations into Regina, Saskatchewan, and we are seeking a highly capable and driven Security Operations Centre Operator/Control Room Operator to support the field operations in one of industrial sites. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, comfortable working with technology, and able to remain calm under pressure. While previous SOC or control room experience is considered an asset, training will be provided to suitable candidates with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Location: Co-op Refinery, Regina Schedule: 12-hour continental rotating shifts Rotation between days and overnights every two weeks Available shift patterns: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM / 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM Includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Duties: Security MonitoringSurveillance Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, and life safety systems Identify and report suspicious activity, security concerns, or system irregularities Respond to alarms and incoming service requests in a timely manner Maintain awareness of ongoing incidents and operational activity DispatchCommunications Dispatch security personnel to incidents, patrol requests, and emergency calls Maintain professional communication with guards, supervisors, clients, and emergency services Operate radios, telephones, email, and internal communication systems Escalate incidents following established procedures and protocols Incident ReportingDocumentation Complete accurate incident reports, activity logs, and shift summaries Document all incidents, alarms, and communications within reporting systems Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information Access ControlAdministrative Support Monitor and manage access control activity Assist with badge access requests, visitor management, and credential administration Support basic troubleshooting of security systems when required Emergency Response Support Assist with emergency response coordination during fire, medical, safety, or security incidents Follow site emergency procedures and escalation processes Remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations QualificationsRequirements Willing to obtain Saskatchewan Security Licence High school diploma or equivalent Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent computer proficiency and ability to learn security software platforms Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays What We Offer Comprehensive benefits package Permanent employment opportunities Full uniform provided at no cost Paid training and site-specific orientation Continuing education covered through Securiguard university Career growth and advancement opportunities Supportive and team-oriented work environment Apply Today This could be more than just a job - it could be the start of a rewarding career.
