*Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*Carrier Payments:Review premium amounts payable to carriers and process paymentProcess "Account Current" payments on a strict deadlineComplete Cash Advance ReportsProcess Premium Financing ContractsPrepare quarterly and annual surplus lines tax filingProcess returned premium checks*Reconciliations:Prepare month end reconciliations for carrier payable and research any discrepanciesReview and reconcile account currents and carrier statementsPrepare bank reconciliationsComplete month-end reports on a strict deadlineAssist insurers in resolving outstanding balances and reconciliations*Experience/Specifications:Minimum of two years of high volume payables experience or P&C Commercial Lines Account Management requiredAssociates Degree required; BA/BS a plusStrong work ethic with a defined sense of urgencyOrganized self starter that works well in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and retention of pertinent informationMS Office and Excel proficiency requiredSuperior knowledge of general accountingUSI is committed to providing a full-suite of competitive benefits for our growing population and its diverse needs.
