Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts related to IT projects and initiatives. Monitor and track IT spending, ensuring adherence to budget and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for IT projects and initiatives. Provide key insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision making. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures. Conduct regular financial audits and reviews to identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement. Communicate financial updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IT finance and apply them to Delta Air Lines' operations. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for IT finance-related inquiries and issues. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial management. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to negotiate contracts and manage financial aspects of vendor relationships. Train and mentor junior team members on financial management processes and procedures. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
