Security Patrol Officer (EV Charging Stations SF Area) Schedule Monday – Wednesday5:00 AM – 11:00 AMPart-Time Unarmed Driving PositionPay Rate $24.00 per hour Position Summary We are seeking highly professional and reliable Security Patrol Officers to provide mobile patrol services for multiple Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station locations along assigned routes. Officers will deter criminal activity, protect property, ensure safety, and report hazards or maintenance issues. This role is essential to maintaining safe, secure, and operational EV charging stations for public use. Key Responsibilities Patrol & Deterrence Conduct randomized and scheduled vehicle patrols of assigned EV charging station sitesInspect stations for vandalism, theft, tampering, loitering, or unauthorized vehicle parkingEnsure lighting, signage, and surrounding areas are safe and operationalMaintain a strong security presence using marked patrol vehiclesSite Inspections Check the physical condition of chargers, kiosks, payment terminals, and cablesIdentify and document graffiti, equipment damage, or hazardsEnsure charging areas are free of obstacles, debris, or improperly parked vehiclesEngage courteously with members of the public while maintaining professionalismReporting & Documentation Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) with detailed observationsSubmit Incident Reports immediately for vandalism, theft, hazards, or critical eventsUse electronic reporting tools (e.g., Lighthouse app) with time-stamped notes and photosMaintain GPS-verified patrol logs to confirm route coverageTraining & Equipment Complete EV station inspection training, including hazard recognition and safety protocolsWear a professional uniform and utilize assigned equipmentOperate marked patrol vehicles in compliance with regulations Performance Standards Submit all reports within 24 hours of shift completionDemonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness at all timesParticipate in performance reviews with clients and management Working Conditions Outdoor environment with exposure to varying weather conditionsVehicle-based patrols with regular site walk-throughsOfficers may occasionally assist with additional coverage shifts based on operational needs Qualifications Must be at least 25 years oldActive California BSIS Guard Card requiredValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordPrior mobile patrol or field security experience preferredExperience with mobile reporting applications and GPS tracking systems preferredMust be able to walk, drive, and inspect sites for extended periodsStrong communication and customer service skills required
