Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, platforms, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic public areas to help to control access, observe passenger and visitor activity, and support orderly operations throughout the location.Assist with directing passengers and visitors, providing information, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or facility concerns that could affect daily operations. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.A guard card and/or license is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only. What You'll Do
