In the role as the Building Security Officer – 3rd Shift, you will help our team bring the next round of stories to life on the United Center campus. Ready to take center stage? The Building Security Officer – 3rd Shift will ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for all United Center team members and guests by monitoring assigned areas. 3rd Shift Building Security Officer 11:45PM-8AM, Mondays and Tuesdays off. What You’ll Do Create a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.Monitor CCTV, door alarms and alarm systems.Report unsafe and unpresentable circumstances within the work area.Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests, resolving concerns, and distributing promotional items.Monitor facility security through patrols, stationed posts, and vehicle operations.Conduct screenings of employees, contractors, and media using magnetometers.Document incidents accurately and enforce facility policies to maintain safety and security.Support facility operations through lifting, transporting items, and maintaining knowledge of layout and services. What You’ll Need Must be able to work well with large groups of people.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to speak, read and comprehend English.Basic knowledge of security programs.Must have weekend and holiday availability.Ability to solve problems, and handle situations with limited standardization.Previous security, military, and/or law enforcement experience .PERC Card certification and valid driver’s license. Physical Demands Ability to work in moderate to loud noise levels and outdoor exposure for up to 2/3 of the shift, with standing or walking required for at least 7/8 of the shift.Occasional lifting (up to 10 lbs) and physical activities such as kneeling and reaching may be required for up to 1/3 of the shift. The pay range for this role is $20.00 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include 401K retirement plan with company match, paid time off and commuter benefits. Additional perks include access to our state-of-the-art gym with free fitness classes, catered meals, fun events and free parking.

11:45PM-8AM, Mondays and Tuesdays off.
What You’ll Do
