The Head Chef ensures that all culinary practices meet stringent sanitation and food quality standards while maintaining a safe and organized kitchen environment. This role demands a strong focus on improving both guest and employee satisfaction, alongside maximizing financial performance through effective cost control and inventory management. The individual appointed will lead hiring, training, and supervision of the culinary team, thereby shaping a high-performing kitchen operation that aligns with the Oxford brand standards. Creativity in menu development and culinary innovation, in conjunction with marketing and management teams, is also a crucial responsibility. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, customer service skills, and the ability to uphold safety and sanitation standards rigorously. They will also have a flexible schedule encompassing days, nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic demands of the hospitality industry. This full-time role offers a platform for a seasoned culinary professional to contribute significantly to Oxford Hotels' outstanding reputation in hospitality and culinary excellence. Must be able to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance must be able to push, pull, lift up to 100 pounds must comply with all Oxford rules, regulations, expectations, and standards ability to lead kitchen teams and provide direction for all day-to-day operations prior experience in hospitality culinary management knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques ability to instill safety and sanitation habits in all employees physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, bend, and stoop frequently must be available to work rotating shifts, overnight shifts, overtime, and holidays as required OysterLink supports restaurant and hospitality hiring.
